The Genius Antonio Gaudi

Spain is known for many, many reasons and things around the globe. It’s wonderful cuisine and tapas hour. Bullfights, its language, flamenco music, rich history and of course it’s beautiful beaches. On one of this beautiful Mediterranean sits on of Spain’s pearls, Barcelona. This wonderful city served as an inspiration to one of the world’s true architect genius of this decade Antonio Gaudi.

He made of Barcelona his home, and while there designed many of the most beautiful and interesting structures that I have ever been in. All of them look so similar but so different from one another. By walking in to these structures you would know that they were all designed by the same person, but he was definitely inspired by something very different each time. For example the Casa Mila, or better known as La pedrera, as soon ad you walk into it you realize that he was sitting on the beach looking at the waves when he first started to think about this home. All sorts of waves and interesting shapes, build the walls of this interesting building. But what is most outstanding is that this creative architect did not use a ruler tracing this home, since there is no single straight line found the whole building. If you ever make it Barcelona make sure that you spend plenty of time and have a lot of patience to get to this tourist sites, since there are long lines to get there. Make sure that on your way up to parc Guell you do take your Acceletrim, since you will need all the energy going up those endless stairs that take you to the breathtaking view of the Mediterranean.
