I bottle things up inside, but without a date, I get pretty lonely. Get this, merely hours ago I ate a whole bag of Oreos. On a weekend that comes from being alone, obviously. You better believe it was great. Am I crazy? Actually, it’s when I first thought about finding a date in my new hometown.
Easy solution. I’ll meet new singles at a matchmaking service like Great Expectations Dallas. Probably turned out to be my golden ticket. Prolly wouldn’t be an issue, but it is. While eating corn on the cob at my 40th birthday in Denver last week, Mom asked me if I have yet to win the woman I’m going to marry. At first I didn’t know what to say to that. I laughed and spit out, “that’s none of your business.”
Even Cousin Terry chimed in about true relationships. I said to the whole group: “Hey look, do you even know me?”
You know what? Each one of them scoffed. Shortly after, I called Dave because the dating pressure was too much. But I couldn’t get it out of my head! I can’t imagine what I was thinking there. Doug, who is now a Budist monk or something offered his opinion that I sign up for Great Expectations. I said, “You know, that’s a good idea.” See, everything always works out. I can speak highly of Great Expectations Dallas.
When I started, meeting new singles through dating services was kinda foreign as I am a simple guy. I was a bit nervous at first, and I was speechless at first. A mere emotional anxiety couldn’t bring an end to us from enjoying ourselves. That night I enjoyed was full of crazy-fun mingling. The greatest most memorable part of it all was the attractive, single women.
It wasn’t long before I was regularly mingling at these amazing Denver Singles Events and parties at Great Expectations, I ran into quite a few winners that must share a parallel understanding when talking about real-world dating. Now I can stop letting anyone give their two cents about being single. Wonderfully enough, matchmaking in Dallas with Great Expectations is enjoyable and care-free social experience.
